How Helova Started

In 2013, Helova co-founder Lori Anderson was diagnosed with breast cancer. While going through radiation and chemotherapy, and suffering painful burns from her treatment, she met co-founder Cindy Brown who offered her a homemade, homeopathic balm she created out of essential oils and natural ingredients, hoping it would ease Lori's pain. After using many prescribed creams from the cancer center that offered her little relief or visible alterations to her burns, Lori tried Cindy's balm. To her astonishment, after two days her burns were gone, and her pain reduced. Lori's doctors were also astounded by how quickly she healed, and since then, how quickly others have healed after using the natural balm.

Lori and Cindy realized that they had a product people needed to know about, a product that is safe, completely natural, and successful in treating minor to major maladies. They decided to manufacture the product and Helova was born, out of sharing and friendship; out of love.

My name is Lori Anderson. I know that making the statement that caner is a "gift" is a bold statement that needs explaining. On January 4, 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Did I consider it a gift then? Hardly. Cancer, ANY form of cancer is UGLY. Not only cancer but any any life-altering illness such as Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes ,or a multitude of other diseases is hideous.

So, where do the gifts come into the picture? It was during my treatment of a year-and-a-half of aggressive chemotherapy and five days a week of radiation for seven weeks, my first gift appeared.

My first gift was my new friendship with Cindy Brown. A lifelong friend introduced me to Cindy. Cindy opened her heart to me and loved me like a sister from the first moment we met. She is truly a friend in the purest form. I consider her a healing angel on earth and without her, I would not have received my second gift.

I had been given several types of cream from the cancer center to ease the pain; however, none of them worked, and to be honest, I didn’t have the strength to try another one. Cindy persisted and I started using it. After two days the burn was GONE. My doctors and nurses couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Cindy met me when I was just starting my treatment of chemotherapy. The skin on my left breast and chest were just starting to get the "radiation sunburn." She saw the burn and asked me to try a balm that she had formulated for her children. I had been given several types of cream from the cancer center to ease the pain; however, none of them worked, and to be honest, I didn't have the strength to try another one. Cindy persisted and I started using it. After two days the burn was GONE. My doctors and nurses couldn't believe what they were seeing.

One day I was having treatment and I came into contact with a younger woman named Tami. It turns out she and I were diagnosed at the same time, had our surgeries one day apart, and started our treatments one day apart. The difference was that she had severe radiation burns, to the point of blisters, and I didn't, thanks to Cindy's balm. Like Cindy asked me to do, I asked Tami to try the balm. After using it, she too had profound healing in a very short time. Gift number three, new friendship with Tami! Again, the doctors were asking what was creating the healing.

Helova, gift number four. Cindy and I realized that she had created a product that is safe, completely natural, and above all else--WORKS! We decided to manufacture the product and Helova was born. We knew that Helova needed to be shared with those looking for a way to ease their discomfort.

Yes, my cancer gave me "gifts." My gifts are new friendships and the creative of Helova, neither of which would have occurred without my having cancer.

That is why I  believe that at the heart of Helova, is love  ❤
